where can i learn more about the tricks to keying, compositing and grading
hi guys
i do alot of keying, compositing and grading in my organistation, and i would like to learn more, than what i pick up myself through great resources like this site.
Is there an advanced book(s) out there that deals with these things?

I found Andrew Kramer’s DVD to be excellent for this.

I’d second Kramer’s DVD, very helpful since it is step by step tutorials.
Some books worth buying on the subject… “Digital Compositing for Film and Video” by Steve Wright; “After Effects Studio Techniques” by Mark Christiansen (there is a AE 6.5 and a 7.0 version) covers some good keying techniques. “Color Correction for Digital Video” by Steve Hullfish and Jaime Fowler, getting kind of dated now but the concepts are still the same. I can’t speak highly enough about the Trish & Chris Meyer books “Creating Motion Graphics with After Effects” vol. 1&2. Vol 2 covers more advanced techniques including keying.Erik

I agree with the Meyer’s books. I also like the total training series.

I love the book titled “After Effects 7 Studio Techniques”. It has a fantastic and well illustrated section on keying among many other tasks.
