[Petroi Teodora] “Do u think it’s safe to install it?”

You don’t have an option. XP SP2 is not longer supported by anyone, including Microsoft. Did you read the article? It says right at the start:

“To continue receiving security updates for Windows, make sure you’re running Windows XP with Service Pack 3 (SP3).”

So you must be on SP3 to receive any updates from Microsoft. I would make a backup of your PC and then upgrade to SP3 if you absolutely have to stay on XP. Otherwise you might consider getting off that unsupported OS and upgrading to Windows 7.

Does Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 10.0 support OFX plug-ins? That may be your problem. BCC7 & BCC8 are not DirectX plug-ins, they are OFX plug-ins. I don’t know if Movie Studio 10 supports OFX plug-ins but I’m guessing it doesn’t if you’re not seeing BCC7/8 show up.
