Where are my Standard Def presets in Motion?
I am using Motion 3.0.2 on a G5. For some reason I am missing my standard definition project presets. For example if I go the Motion menu >> Preferences… >> Presets, only high definition settings show up for either Project presets or Export presets. I see DVCPro HD, several HDV, a bunch of XDCAM, and that’s it.
I’ve been using the standard def 8 bit uncompressed and DV NTSC setting just fine on our other workstations. Why are they not showing up on this one? Is there some check box I’m missing, or do I need to get drastic and reinstall? Thanks-

OK, I did a search and found someone had a similar problem earlier, where they had no presets at all. Followed a link to this Apple doc describing the problem:

I did what it said (uninstalled & reinstalled Motion & Compressor), and that fixed the problem.
