Hi! I’m starting to learn cinema 4d. But where to begin?! are there some video tutorials or other tutorials? It’s mainly for motion graphics! And not for complete pixar animations!

    any ideas

    thnx Frank

I’m actually going through the process myself, right now.

Maqxon has their own pay-for training site, full of TONS of training videos, and it’s quite excellent:

This one is free and is the best I’ve found so far for tutorials (After creativecow 😉 is c4dcafe.com

Amazing tutorials is all I can say.

I hope you have fun with c4d, it is in my opinion the best 3d package out here for the independent animator for the time being.

I would first go through the tutorial on the Maxon cd itself (Duck race). It will give you a really great head start.

Yeah, but I think it’s overkill. If one really subscribes and intends to watch all their videos, you spend more time with them instead of working in C4D. ;o) They should also put up more free examples. I really can’t make up my mind about it from what little is there.

c4d cafe comes highly recommended, especially 3dKiwi’s tutorials!
