    Setup:
    Intel Core i7 CPU Q820 @ 1.73Ghz (Sager Laptop)
    vegas Pro 9(e)
    Editing MS avi(2) clips

I’ve run into a goofy problem where when I raise (from timelines) a previously made Titler II for editing… that is, click on the little green box on the right.. Make my edit… deleting one box of text, close the tool, but the deleted text is still there when I next pass the cursor over the title event.

I’ve tried it repeatedly, and moved the event to a new track to make sure there wasn’t a duplicate under it.

Still when I activate the text box and right click, I’m offered `reset or delete.

I choose delete, the box and text disappear but when I close the titler and move the cursor over it that infernal box and text are still there.

This turned out to be related to the keyboard on a Sager NP8760 labtop I was using at the time.

When I returned to my regular keyboard (still using the same laptop though) the problem disappears. Also, a few other things seem to happen because of the Sager keyboard.

Ctrt-home doesn’t do anything, home does something unexpected and moves to a specific Titler II event regardless of where I press it on the timeline, and the up_page/down_page don’t do anything either.

If anyone here has experience with something similar I’d still like to here about it, especially if you’ve found a way to work around or in some other way fixed those problem…. there will be times when the builtin keyboard is all there is available.

    Hi,

I am running Vegas Movie Studio 10 HD Platinum on a Dell laptop, and also have many problems with keyboard shortcuts (even with standard keys, not even the ones emulated for the num pad).
