  • When I export to XML, is FCP X adding to clip length??

I’ve been editing podcasts using FCP X. I set them up in FCP X, and then I export to Logic for fine tuning and mixing.

It works great, but I’ve noticed sometimes when I export, it seems like FCP X is adding tails to the clips, so when I go through, there are some added “umms” or “uhhs” that I’ve taken out but are now in the session when I open it in Logic. Does FCP X do that? Can I change that?

    Thanks,
    Noam

FCPX doesn’t add any handles to your edits – I’d think it’s more likely that Logic isn’t interpreting the cuts as precisely as FCPX.
