  • When I drag nest onto timeline I do not get the nest but each clip

So I have nested a few clips. The nest appears in my project browser. When I drag and drop that nest onto the time line I do not get the NEST but Premiere will drop each clip of the nest onto my time line in different tracks. I do not want this. I just want to have the nest on my time line aka single clip. I know this is possible because that’s the way I’ve always used to do it. There must be some setting on this machine I am not aware of.

    Thanks a lot.

Found it: Insert and Overwrite sequence as nest or individual clips – button at the top of my sequence.

Yeah, I had the same thing happen to me a few weeks ago. Never knew what that button did, and suddenly it turned itself off. It does the same when you drag sequences into your sequence, not just nests.
