When dragging from source to timeline image locks up and sound stops
Using Premiere Pro 7. Vista. Captured 14 tapes
and all work fine in editor except 2. Both experience same issue.
Both play fine in source monitor. Good sound and video.
But when I insert or drag into timeline only about 10 seconds plays
before the sound track vanishes and the video locks up like
a freeze frame. Again, the other tapes work fine in the editor.Never seen this issue before. Any help appreciated.

Drag from the source monitor to the project monitor for insert/overwrite edits, or use the . and , keys to see if this solves the issue in the short term.
