when copying/ pasting; FCP won’t copy/ paste levels

Are you copying and pasting clips? Clip opacity levels get copied and pasted with the clips for me.

Yes, Exactly, the clips aren’t carrying over the opacity levels when they are moved from sequence to sequence. i’ve tried nesting the sequences, nothing works; have you seen this before?

Nope, works fine for me. Haven’t heard of the problem before. You should start by trashing your preferences.

Copy, Right Click, Paste attributes – Select Basic Motion

Also you can make Motion Favorites to save and use again later.
