I know there are some guidlines here on how to setup your PC with multiple HDD’s, RAIDS and ssd to maximize performance.. But the ones I found are a couple or years old, so i maybe some things have changed in the mean time..

At the moment im building a new high end pc that I will mainly use for Blender (3D moddelling), Premiere (4K raw), After effects and Photoshop.
Its going to have a treadripper 1950x, 64RAM and a 1080i on a Gigabyte X399 DESIGNARE EX motherboard.
Now im looking to get my drive setup optimal. I was thinking this:

    SSD m2: windows/programmes
SSD m2: project files (premiere pro/blender/etc)
SSD m2: media files that are used in the projects
SSD PCIe: media cache and scratch
SSD PCIe: temp files and previews (is this one neccesary? )

HDD: assets and libraries (these will be copied first to the SSD before I start using them
HDD: personal DATA (not used in projects)

I read that putting the media cache on a seperate drive is very important.. so that’s what I did. I also split the project files and the project media up.. (saw that in a youtube video).. Will this setup work? Or are there any better options?

    thanks!
