What’s the key to a good Duotone Effect?
I’m trying to duplicate the effect in the linked image, it’s a bit more than a straight duotone.
The image almost has a vector art quality but was made from a frame grab exported from After Effects.
I’ve tried a few things to get rid of tonal detail – and none have worked. The closest I’ve come is to bump the levels before applying duotone and then applying the gradient. It’s close but not quite.
I’d be very appreciative to hear how to pull this off!

gtascale with levels adjusted… then a tint effect )cpolor layer set to color mode abovethen gradient on top
