  • What’s the Best Way to Log Footage When Using Multicam Sequences

    Hey there,

So I am usually running single cam and when I’m logging my footage I create subclips from the Synched
    Clips.

With anA&B Cam on this video I am editing and I need a way to log the footage. My understanding is that with A&B cam the only option is to create multicam sequences and I’m not sure how to create subclips out of sequences so is there a system anyone uses that they like for logging multicam sequences?

create the multicams, string them out in a sequence and add markers to the multicam clips. Use the pancake method for editing and you’ll have easy access to those markers.

Ha! Aaaand I uust discovered you can have a MARKERS window open so you have an actual VISUAL of the descriptions of all the markers. Not unlike subclips. Thank you.
