What’s the best way to do HDV?

One question for this thread. Currently I use a Decklink HD card with an HDLink to monitor and output native HDV footage from my G5 using FCP 5.1.

Currently I am editing 1080i60 HDV footage, but I have a proejct using HDV 720p24 that I want to edit once FCP 5.1.2 comes out in a few weeks.

How will the Decklink card and HDLink work with the HDV 720p24 footage? Will it be as easy as working 1080i60 HDV is? I am sure that you have or will be testing this.
