Whats the best way to create a dust effect?
I have an animation of a logo appearing to drop from above real fast and slam into the screen. Whats the best way to add a dust particle effect as if it fell on the ground and kicked up some dust?

Particle illustion would be best, I imagine.

I just created the exact same effect using CC Particle World. Looked pretty damn good. Set the Particle Type to Darken & Faded Sphere, change the color to White, Grey, and/or Brown depending on your preference, and crank the Birth and Death Size up. Birth Rate, Gravity, Velocity, and Longevity are some other properties you may want to fiddle with too.Hope that helps!
