  • What’s the best way to archive and store Adobe Premiere Pro?

Posted by Mark Collins on March 14, 2009 at 12:16 am

Sorry if this question has been asked before. I did not seem to find it when I searched.

I have about 5-10 Adobe Premiere Pro projects that I need to archive, and then put on the shelf for storage.

Is there something you can do inside of Adobe Premiere Pro to archive? Or do I use a 3rd party software.

Would you then store the projects on hard drives?

    Thanks for any input.

I am pulling this all from memory so dont ridicule me if my terminology is wrong, but go to your project menu and then look for “trim project” or “copy project” these two options will move all of your used files into one location for archiving (there is a difference between the two so do a quick help search). Depending on the size you may be able to burn them to DVD or move them to an external backup drive.
