  • What’s the best practice workflow for FCP using Color?

Posted by Ryan Mcclure on March 27, 2010 at 12:58 am

I shot this two weeks ago: https://bit.ly/bN4a0P and I had to bail because the learning curve for moving in and out of Color scared me close to deadline. Is there something I’m missing? Why is the Soundtrack Pro and Motion integration so seamlesss – Motion way more so than Soundtrack… Any advice more than welcome.

    Cheers,

    Ryan

Actually the roundtrip from FCP to Color and back is really easy. The same “send to” function as the others apps. Color itself takes some time to learn but is actually really fun once you get the hang of it.

I recommend you get the Ripple Training DVD or their download for Color and take a weekend to learn it – awesome program!
