    So I have some specs that want VITC timecode on lines 19 and 21 for field 1 and 332 and 334 for field 2. My deck appears to only have settings for the first two (lines 19 and 21).

    Why do they want 4 lines of VITC timecode? How do I set lines 332 and 334? Or is this one of those things the deck already does when lines are set to 19 and 21 and this usually just goes unspoken.

    Just trying to clarify this so I can know exactly what’s up. I just haven’t ever ran into a spec written like this one.

    haha. Ya know what. I don’t even care anymore. We are getting “exception” status and delivering NTSC instead of PAL and you cant even use line 21 in NTSC. Guess this means I don’t have to meet their timecode specs. 🙂
