July 27, 2008 at 9:33 pmThe original Final Cut Pro 1.0 was $999. And we were happy to pay it even though it was full of bugs.

July 28, 2008 at 6:06 amI remember Final Cut 2 and 3 users being very stuck up and snotty about how great their program was. I really couldn’t stand them and wanted nothing to do with the program. (And yes, I was already a Mac user at the time, so that’s saying something.)
Anyway, long story short; now I am one of those guys.
Oh well! I try to be nice about it, at least.

Thanks Wes, that’s the number I was looking for. Good reference document too.

More so than those in the Kingdom of ALL things AVID the great….. I would find that hard to believe.
To have AVID, to be Avid, now there is a class of editors that really needed a reality check..
FCP, Mac Pro, Mac Book Pro, HPX500, HVX200, Betacam, Dvcam
Write for the Edit, Shoot for the Edit, Edit…..KISS Principle
