    I was just working on a project in AE CS4, and I was right clicking (I think) on a keyframe, and I got this little Box that popped up, it looked like an undocked panel, it was small, and it had a button in it that said “Open 1”, and what looked like the little flyout menu button in the upper right corner for panel options. I clicked away from it in my haste, and now I can’t find it again. I was just wondering what the heck it was, and is it a useful thing? I’m always looking for shortcuts and keyboard shortcuts and features that I haven’t found yet to make my workflow better.

    Could it be the elusive “Auto Make Look Great” button that I ‘ve heard about?

    Actually, this was different. I am familiar with the keyframe menu that you speak of, I use it all the time, this one wasn’t a contexual menu per se, it was more like a floating pallete, it looked like an indocked pallet with the background color the same as the workspace and everything.

    The only thing “new” i can think of;
    if you hold your mouse over a precomp in your timeline end press shift you’ll see a flowchart-overlay.

    [Jan Sherlink] “flowchart-overlay.”

    THAT’S IT!!!!

    Now that I know what it was, I use it all the time for navigating precomps.

    Brilliant!
