What video capture card do you recommend to digitize without losing quality?
Hello, I am new to the forum and new to digitizing videos on VHS cassettes, 8mm, etc. I dedicate myself to recording games like basketball in my town. I have managed to get old VHS and 8mm tapes of old basketball games from past players in my town. I want to digitize these old tapes but without losing quality. The quality of a VHS is already low by today’s standards and if I still digitize these VHS cards with cheap cards on the market, the quality will be lower. I have been searching and learning on the web about professional video capture cards like Blackmagic Design Intensity Pro 4 K. But I also learned that the AJA Kona brand is very good even though their prices are very high. But I have managed to find used Aja Kona cards at a good price. Which one do you recommend BMD or AJA Kona? There are many varieties of AJA such as KOna 3, Lhe, Lhi. I must clarify that I need to use it on Windows 7 since I don’t have a Mac. What do you recommend and why? Apart from msofwarre for capture, editing, etc. Thank you.
