I post a few things for sale now and then and typically after they sell I remove the post. Is there a pref to keep the post and add SOLD to the subject line vs removing the post?

    Thank you my pasture caretakers,

    Steve

    Hello Steve,

You can edit your post, and change the subject line. The link to edit your post is next to the option to delete on the readpost page.

Yep, I’m familiar with editing the post, just wondering specifically on the classified forum after I sell an item and it’s no longer available, do you/the cow suggest/prefer removing the post altogether or adding the word “sold” to the subject line.

It’s up to you I guess. Is it worth it for you for people to know that you ever had this particular thing to sell? If you sell gear regularly, I think the answer would be a strong yes, so people would look to you as a resource for that.

    If it’s a one-off, maybe not.

But it’s up to you. Either way is fine.

Ah, okay, I didn’t understand the question. It would probably be best to completely remove it to avoid any future confusion by people coming in off a search.
