    Hi Guys

I’m hoping to buy a slider this week but am a little confused as to which one. I’ve been using a DIY one now for a while. I prefer something a little more professional looking. And I don’t want to use my mini skateboard anymore as a dolly!

    I have a budget of about £320.

My aim is to add handles to the slider so it doubles up as a shoulder mount too. It saves the hassle of carrying 2 separate pieces of equipment.

I’m after a 1m slider too. Basically something long enough, avoiding an update later. Also something that will last me a while.

Are sliders usually secure if using 1 tripod? I’m aware for diagonal sliding moves, 2 tripods are needed but apart from that, will 1 tripod suffice without giving me any camera bounce? I will only mount the 5D and lens on it. That will total to about 3.5lbs (if using the 24-105mm).

Which ones would you guys recommend?

I live in the UK so would need to either collect it or get it delivered if reasonable.

    Thanks!

    Buddy
