I got problems capturing from DVCAM through FireWire. It worked just nice the other day- what could be wrong? I’ve tried everything I could come to think of in the capture and deck settings.

This is the error message I get:
    Halted on “clip name”
    Exception: DIG_VDM_OVERRUN

This is the error message in console:

Batch Capturing Clip :: GULT (4:3) – intervju

    * Batch capturing Media to volume WD Combo (J:)
    Exception:
    @ Mon Oct 02 00:50:42 2006
    Exception: DIOProducer – video overrun

DIOProducer captured 145 DV25 frames. Average frame size is 141.2KB.

Storage consumed at the rate of 4m:57s per gigabyte

    BatchDigitize – clip 1 TOO_SHORT – master 5641, digitized 5

***!!!*** Batch Capture Aborted. Media Discarded.

—It says something about being too short – all I know is that the clip certainly is okay concerning preroll, postroll and length.

    Any ideas?

Just wanted to add a note. I rushed through the forum and realized other people have had the same problem using FireWire disks. I’m using them too, but now I tried capturing directly to the internal disk and got the same problem.
