    Hi,

I’m fairly new to Illustrator and I can’t figure out what this cube is or what purpose it serves. It’s nowhere in my layers and I have tried looking through view and window settings and found nothing that could explain or get rid of it. Here is a screenshot zoomed in. I am designing a banner and this design appears over all layers no matter what I do. Could someone explain what it is and how to deactivate it?

Also, I just noticed how “Demonstrate” and “cultivate” are cut off and look like “demons” and “cult” – I am not designing something crazy, I promise! 🙂

That’s the perspective tool. If you close that little bubble with a small cube in it next to your pathfinder window, it’ll go away.

You might need to choose the perspective tool in your toolbox in order to close it.

Ah, fixed! knew it would be something simple since the shapes weren’t appearing upon exporting. Thanks for the help!
