Yeah, it works just fine. It’s still in the same place, only now it’s in a subfolder called Boris.

All of Boris Calligraphy has been considerably revised and updated for v5, one of the few rarely mentioned, but substantial improvements in the application. It now includes a a Type On function, a useful, animateable Vector Shape tool and a fun Text Scrambler that messes with the text, including jittering as well as other motion.

Boris Calligraphy is one of the unsung heros of FCP IMO. the true 3d vector text gives you plenty of ‘flying text’ options – and it’s true 3d, something motion and livetype cant offer yet!!

i use it everyday for some quite complex text effects – just add a few edge lighting and glow filters and you are away!!
