    What is the cost to replace Canon 5D Mark III sensor?

    I found an amazing deal on a Canon 5D Mark III, the only thing is that the sensor is bad and needs to be replaced. I haven’t bought the camera yet.
    Just want to make sure that if I buy this camera, with getting a new sensor, will this still be a good deal?

    You’ll have to get a quote from Canon repair to find that out. And I’m not sure I’d go with a third-party repair (if anyone will do that), I think that’s a job for an actual Canon repair.

    Just a wild guess, but I wouldn’t be surprised at a quote in the $1500 neighborhood… maybe a little less, maybe somewhat more.

    Get a real quote..
