What is the best way to mimic a 16mm reduction print with digital footage?
Hypothetically, I have a fully graded piece of DSLR footage that approximates the look of 35mm motion picture film; the RAW footage was exposed & saturated as such in-camera as opposed to fiddling around with a simple flat picture in post and now has a Filmconvert or ImpulZ lut laid over as the cherry on the cake.
In the midst of all this, I have a brainstorm: what if I could make my footage look like a scaled down 16mm print, just like the kind that would be shown on a local TV station in the 70s or 80s – gritty, degraded, badly tinted/white balanced. Hey, maybe I can thrown in a chyron designed in another program for good measure:

Would I have to run my footage through another monitor and then record it with different WB? Is 2:3 pulldown involved?
