    I have some HD footage which looks terrible whenever i add effects and export it from after effects. can you tell me please the best way to keep quality high when exporting? Which is the highest possible?

    do a bit of a search through the COW and you’ll find lots of information on RENDERING not EXPORTING!!!!

    you need to use the RENDER QUEUE – don’t ever export unless you really really have to –

    then you need to choose a file type, like quicktime or avi, and a codec, like DV or animation. There are some other options in there you need to decide on.

    have a search around and if you are still stuck ask again
