What is the best template in Sony Vegas to render for Highest Quality?
I want the best frame rate and best resolution possible for all my videos. What settings should I use to render?
I saw Sony XAVC S Long with 4k but, the frame rate only goes to 59.94fps
XAVC S Long 3840×2160-59.94pXAVC Intra 4096×2160-59.94p
(Higher 4k but only 59.94fps)With MP4 (AVC/AAC), I am able to retrieve 172 frames per second but at the loss of my resolution.

The “best” template is always one you customize yourself based on the source videos you’re editing and how the rendered videos will be used. You mention 4k at 60fps and then you mention lower resolution at 172 frames per second. Are you actually shooting 4k at 172 frames per second? Just cranking every slider up to max settings isn’t the right way to achieve a good looking product. Could we have more details on your source material and how the final product is used?

The question is incomplete, there is no explanation as to the intended purpose of the finished file. Highest quality for what? 172 fps, sounds great but where and what to play it on. Please define purpose for file.
