  what is the best settings deliver in Blue Ray and Dvd player

  what is the best settings deliver in Blue Ray and Dvd player .Exaple 1080 50i or 25p and export to Blue-Ray and DVD . Blue-Ray player play interlaced or only progressive .? HDTV play progressive and interlaced or make deinterlaced? and if choose 50i what should be the shutter speed. ?
