Just curious what would be best quality wise I’ve tried many templates, but I know I could have something better.. Size does not matter because I have a big hard drive.

    Hi Tony,
It depends on what your final delivery format is. Will it be DVD, Blu-ray, Youtube, Vimeo, projected, broadcast TV etc. Generally you want to try to render directly to the needed format. For example-I have a client who likes to have his videos on Vimeo HD. Vimeo has a page with basic guidelines for all the major NLE’s including Vegas.
    https://vimeo.com/help/compression
You can see on the page they also talk about frame rate, data rate, resolution etc. There are also quite a few tutorials online, but they are usually listed by the delivery format: Vegas Pro 11 render to DVD settings etc.

I would suggest the Mainconcept MP4 internet HD 720p render setting as a starting point for both Youtube and vimeo.
