What is better for picture quality

I assume MPEG-2, right? The only format of MPEG-2 editable in FCP is HDV and XDCAM. Those are specific MPEG-2 formats. Generic MPEG-2…is not editable.

FCP doesn’t deal with these natively. Have to convert to ProRes.
[Cali Cuello] “DV-25”
That’s an SD codec, and FCP edits that. MXF…that can be SD or HD. MPEG-2…SD or HD.
