  • What is better ? standard dvpal or uncompressed?

In the previous post I forgot to say I shot with the panasonic AGDVX100a.

I shot on mini dv 24P. edited in Ppr2
I want to export the movie. (When I discouvered my previous frame drop problem). Now I have heard that rendering uncompressed is much better for the titles (as they would become more vague as well). If I would render uncompressed I would deliver my harddisk to the company that puts it on DIGIBETA.
When I render uncompressed: microsoft avi, uncompressed, retain data rate, no fields, 48.000 hz etc.
I see no different with the standard dv compression render. (When I zoom in at both the titles I have rendered, the are both not sharp). How does this come?
Is this because I am working in a dv pal project ? (and that he previews/ pre-renders it? so it is already not good?)
Or do I need to open my premiere project in a higher resolution (HD???) and then export is,… If so, what sort of project? I don’t know anymore and am running out of options (My film has to be finished in two days for a very important interenational festival
When I have made the good render, I also want to do some image effects (that make it look more smood) in after effects.
Sorry I am asking so much… I hope somebody can help me… or with my previous (even more serious) problem…
    grt ton
