What is a .mv file?
This file has appeared in a project folder: Jot 6 29.97 Birthday Party-Apple ProRes 422 (HQ).mov.cf1031d1a01aadb5b1dfa447dee01f91.mv .
I don’t know what it is. Is it a backup of some kind? I would like to delete it-it’s 8gb in size.Editing with FCP7, on a late 2007 MBP, 4gb ram, 500gb gtech firewire raid.

To answer my own question-it’s a optical retiming cache file.
