Never saw that—very weird—First thing I would do is scan by drives for viruses and malware.

No idea what’s going on, but if you hold Ctrl/Shift when opening Vegas, it should restore the default settings.

Very strange – and it looks like the timeline plays right to left!!! – and yet the text still reads normally.

I’d write to Sony support immediately.

Looks like a dual monitor setup when the primary monitor is reversed.
I would be looking at my video card settings, somthing might be messed up there. Since a restore of factory defaults did not correct the problem seems like Video card settings might be to blame.

    Later…Rick

Here’s a way to hopefully fix this.

    Start> run> regedit

    Find:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Sony Media Software\Vegas\7.0\Lang

    Open the file “ULangID”

Confirm the value field is “409”. If it isn’t, please change it to 409, save, restart Vegas.

Also: Are you running a Hebrew or Arabic OS?

I have the same problem too.

    I have a Hebrew OS.

I tried changing my duel monitor setup, still have the problem.
also I tried to change the “UlangID” in the registry but value was already 409.

    plz help me!
