A nice little AJA Mini converter that puts out tri level sync, for the same price as a Horita Black generator (It’s just a damn square wave ! – well, almost).

While we are dreaming, how about a hardware accelerated codec that supports alpha channels and ‘fixes’ the YUV-RGB color space problem when working with material rendered out of AE. Something like an RGB QRez, except with alpha channels.

A cheap tri-level sync would be cool too.

How about a way to use RT Extreme, but also allows a lot more ability to mix and match codecs and resolutions in the timeline.

Now that would be a great Channukah gift. Let’s see, we need 7 more!

I talked to AJA about tri-level sync and they said that they would love to make one, but they only have so many engineers that can be working on so many projects at once. So, it’s not a willingness issue, it’s a resources issue.
