what I need to improve?
Hello Guys
I have receive here a lot of good advice for improve my knowledge in AE.
Im using now a MAC PRO 3,1
2×2.8 Ghz quad core
4 giga ram
AE CS4
and the particle metrix eff from noise industries.Im using for my compositions very big pictures ( 5685 × 1887 ) and while this tricks help me :
-turn off open GL
-not use multiprocessing
-save the video in other hard disk ( I do it sometimes in a external one )
-Activated AE’s “Secret Preference” to purge cache every 20 frames (sometimes even to 1)
– and many other..Im not able to render some compositions
Is there something that I need to improve in my equipment ?
please tell me what…or I must just find the
right way to render the compositions
if that is the case ? what else can be the problem?one more thank you a lot for your help

If you don’t need them that big you would do well to reduce the size before you bring it in and it won’t take so much ram just to read the image.
