    Hi,

I’m trying to make a dog talk in AE.

The sound WAS working in RAM preview or by scrubbing, but somewhere along the line, it quit.

The speakers in the layers are all on but I can’t find a way to raise or lower volume anywhere.

I’ve tried rendering with the audio output box selected and nothing.

I can get it to play in the footage window but not in the composition.

    Anyone know what’s going on?

First select your audio layer and press “LL”(tap quickly) to open the audio waveform and see if the audio is still there. If it’s not, open Window > Audio and make sure you haven’t inadvertently set the audio too low.

If that isn’t the issue, please upload a screen grab of your comp window for further diagnosis.
