What effect I have using Win7 Professional 64Bit compared to Win7 Ultimate 64Bit

No difference in performance. The differences between versions has to do with some internal features mostly related to how the computer hooks up to a corporate network and is managed or manages other computers.

Thx Angelo for the info. It seems there is nothing much difference between Pro & Ultimate.
Has any one knows about what sort of DDR3 SDRAM MEM capacity needed (Maximum) to run Win 7 Professional smoothly?

DDR3 RAM is cheap these days so get 16 or 24 gig (for under $200). You will love it. I have 24g in one of my boxes and it runs smooth with HD editing. Win 7 64 bit. Of course you will need RAID drives and good GPU etc to benefit fully.
