“After Effects error; this module does not support getting output suffixes (39::96)”

I’m getting this error using AE 7 when trying to render/make movie from an old 6.5ver project. I’ve never seen it before in 6.5… What is it and can I fix it somehow?

    Any help out there?

I am getting the same error trying to render a project using 6.5 on the mac which was made in 6.5 on the PC. If anyone has any ideas about this it would be greatly appreciated.

I don’t know what the error means (sorry), but can you try rendering to a TGA sequence, then reimporting and rendering the sequence to your desired codec with audio?

    Just a thought …
