What Does Motion Blur Actually Blur
If I use in a layer in PI an animated background that already had motion blur applied in the source program, does PI3 blur it again, or does it just add blur to the PI effects. (I believe the answer is that it applies blur to everything the gets rendered into a final file, in which case I’m probably better off not having applied motion blur in the original production of the animated background sequence, right?)

Motion blur applies to particles only. The background image is not modified.
