    hello,
i recently started using AVID to edit my work. It’s a great program, but i’m having trouble with some of my footage that I shot using a Sony EX3 camera.

Whenever I import a clip that is 15 minutes long or more, I get a marker in my preview window that i didn’t put there. When I snap to the marker, oddly always at time code 13;15;10, an overlay shows on my clip saying, ‘_ClipTransit-02’ What does this mean? I’ve tried googling, but nothing really shows up, just unanswered threads about the same thing.

The overlay itself isn’t a problem, but there is still a huge problem concerning it. A clip with this error doesn’t show any playback at all. It will show video when paused and when i scan through, but never with actual playback. Why?

Another curiosity is this, if I make a sequence with the marked clips, they don’t play back, but if I make a cut on the marker in the sequence, i get playback finally! If i make a cut before the mark, the first half won’t play back, but the second half will. :\

Can anyone help me at all?

    Thank you.
