It does look a little Mac Pro-ish

Considering I got this in my inbox this morning, I’d say decidedly no:

April 3, 2012 at 4:11 pmI’m sure David will clarify, but I was under the impression that an authorized reseller cannot legally sell a Hackintosh in the US. Private individuals can create one here. They are also legally sold by resellers in the EU.
I think this is a Windows machine in a Mac Pro-like form factor.

April 3, 2012 at 4:38 pmSheesh guys. don’t just look at the pictures…click on things, like TECH SPECS:
https://www.promax.com/s-154-promax-one-tech-specs.aspx
Operating System: Windows 7 Professional® 64-Bit
Professional Media Software Supported: AVID MC 5.5+, Adobe Premiere CS5.5+, Assimilate
SCRATCH or SCRATCH LAB, Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve, Cinema 4D, CatDV, Telestream, Root6I would think the Cow Regulars would know how to do that.
David showed this to me last week. I was quite impressed. Server logic board, thus how it can have a built in RAID 5/6. Avid MC6 and PPro CS5.5 (As well as Scratch, but since I don’t know that, I didn’t play with that). Avid chewed thru the RED footage. And as I am often to note, Avid MC is faster and smoother on a PC..for some reason.
Note: It is a bit more expensive than other computers, as this one is a computer and RAID 5 Storage all in one. So take that into account.
🙂

Negatory Herb. And, you’re not the first to ask that question, nor the last, I’m sure.
The “ONE,” as people are now calling it, is our new professional Windows editing workstation. I’ll be happy to tell you, or anyone else who wants to know more, about it privately. Just write me…

A 1200Mb/s 6-drive RAID-5 onboard – but actually costs less than the direct competition. 🙂

That’s hilarious Shane, I love it. LOL
Admittedly, it’s been a while since I’ve worked with Windows and I’m sure “7” is an improvement from prior releases but the thought of it makes my stomach queasy.
