  • What compact flash card speed do I need for Canon 5D MKIII video?

Posted by Tony Velez on November 3, 2012 at 6:02 pm

Would like to know what compact flash card speed I need to record in ALL-I mode up to 90 megabits per second on a Canon 5D MKIII? I know some cf card speeds out there are 45, 60, and 90mb/s but im not sure what card speed may or may not be required to record in ALL-I mode up to 90 megabits per second on the Canon 5D MKIII. Help with this question would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    Hi Tony,

That information should be in the manual for the camera.

I use a ScanDick Extreme 32gig Class 10. All class 10 are NOT the same. My old ADATA 8gig Class 10 will not work.

    I think he meant SandDisc : )

Sand Disc are very reliable and you should be able to find the one you want.
