  • What codec will work for a 720p60 Varicam Offline?

I’m working with a post facility that has a ton of Varicam and HDV footage they want to compile on a shared storage system for editing offline programing.
Most of the footage was shot at 720p60 or HDV1080i. What codec in final cut pro can I use to edit the offline footage with out having to render or have frame rate issues later when I do the online? Or if anyone has a suggested work flow for this problem I would love to hear it.
    Any help would be wonderful.

    Thanks,
    Sean

I would bring in all footage through a Kona card and bring it in dv. Both 720p60 and 1080i have 30fps timecode, so you are all good.
