What causes AME to hang?
Hi
Have a 6 minute project with lots of dynamic linking. Also using 5 or 6 adjustment layers for grading and CC in AE.If I turn off all the adjustment layers, and output using single pass CBR, no problem , I have a full render in about 2 hours.
However, if I output as high quality using VBR-2pass, and turn ON all adjustment layers, AME only renders for about 5 hours of an estimated 14 hour total render…then nothing…it hangs.Just wondering what some of the possible causes for hanging are and what I should try next.
As a last resort will render sections and then splice together but would like to avoid this.

Did you ever get an answer for this, or find a solution. I’m having the exact same problem and it’s killing me!!!!!
