What can I do to properly extract a .rar video file on a mac?
I have a folder that contains a bunch of files (all with extensions that end with .r01 through .r23) along with one file, the extension of which is straight .rar
I used RAR Extractor Free from the App Store and it only extracted 1 minute of the full 45 minute video. Am I missing something?
I need this video to be readable in fcpx which wont happen until it is extracted.
Note of possible importance: Video plays fine in vlc without any extracting

You’ll just need to find a compression app this is able to handle multi-part RARs.
I’ve used the Unarchiver in the past.
