What are these animations/effects called?
Hello! Recently I’ve seen a video that really impressed me and I would like to know what the little effects/animations were called. They seem to be like little sketched/drawn-on animations but I want to know the specific name of them. Here are some images of the effects:
This trumpet moves slightly when trumpet noises happen in the song.
When he flicks his fingers a little animation shows up.
When he slaps down his hand an animated dust cloud thingy appears.
And finally in this one when the scissor blades meet then a little droplet effect shoots out.
I’m really interested in these effects and I was wondering if anyone knew what they were called and possibly where I could learn them?

I don’t think they have specific name. I’d call them vector art but if you do a search for that you will not find that specific look. I think you would be interested in this tutorial: https://vfxbro.com/lightstreak/

Thank you so much! I feel pretty stupid now because I’ve been a long time fan of vfxbro and the lightstreaks is pretty much the only thing from him that I haven’t seen. It was right in front of me the whole time!!
