My guess is it’s inevitable but probably not until end of 2008. There are any number of directions they can go in. It can be like an F355 that records to cards or cards and disc. It can replace the F335. Any number of other variations/combinations.

??? Newer and/or more models of course. Are you expecting something different. The EX is a 1/2″ chip XDCam. One might wonder what will be the marketing strategy of 1/2″ CMOS vs 1/2″ CCD. Both chips have advantages and disadvantages so Sony may either have two series of cameras or decide to commit to CMOS. Who knows though.
