We don’t have a lot of engineering manpower to commit to particleIllusion right now, but there are probably “small” things that could be squeezed in once in a while. No promises that we’ll actually be able to do any of these things, but what are the little improvements you’d like to see?

For instance, I’d love to be able to multi-select points in the graph window. I’d also like paths to be remembered. I’d also like to be able to copy and paste graphs.

Are there any bugs that you’re running up against too? Bug fixes are usually much easier to fit into a schedule than new features.

Again, no promises on when any of this will happen, or that it will happen at all. I still want to know though.

    Alan.

    Hi Alan,

Most of the time when I increase the number of particle (rain or snow for example) from 0 to xxx, the app will crash..

Make sure you’re using the latest version of pI. (Links on the support pages of genarts.com)

If you are and it still crashes, please create a simple project that shows this and send it to support@genarts.com!

easily the little thing I struggle with that i think can be done… but I can never get it done easily is the organization and availability of ALL the emitters at once.

so I dont have to open library after library to find the smokey looks or sparkly or whatever…. anything to visually help me quickly see the emitters… all of them

    with the preview… 🙂

Do you use “Particle View”? I find it very helpful. I open it, type “S” and enter what I am looking for in the search box.
